Q: What is Tempo in Motion?

A: Tempo in Motion is the best Rhythm and Tempo System for Sports Training. We combine scientifically engineered music and tools designed to determine and perfect your tempo and rhythm. Our company has developed software and a unique system with the feedback and support of many sports professionals. Tempo in Motion also provides the only streaming radio for tempo and rhythm training.

Q: Why do I need tempo and rhythm?

A: If you don't have good tempo - or rhythm - you don't have a game. It's that simple.

Q: What is the difference between tempo and rhythm?

A: Tempo is the pace of your movement. In golf, it is the speed of your full swing, putting stroke, and short game shots. Rhythm helps organize physical movement in time. It is the measured flow of the different parts of the movement.

Q: Should I tell my Coach about Tempo in Motion?

A: Absolutely. Tempo and rhythm are a main part of basic training, along with mechanics and sports psychology. Many top coaches have already adopted the Tempo in Motion system.

Q: Which payment methods does Tempo in Motion accept?

A: We accept credit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept Visa and MasterCard debit cards. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Paypal, checks, money orders or purchase orders.

Q: How do I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

A: Sign in to your account, click the 'My Account' link at the top left corner of the page, and select 'Change Subscription' at the bottom of the 'My Subscription' section. You will be able to choose a new subscription plan. Just follow the prompts.

Q: How do memberships work?

A: Tempo in Motion memberships are subscriptions recurring on a monthly base. You can cancel your membership anytime. You are only committed until the end of your billing period.

Q: What are Tempo Tunes?

A: Tempo Tunes are audio tracks engineered to fit the tempo of sports movements, including golf swings and shots. They are comprised of voice prompts, rhythmic patterns ("Click Patterns") and instrumental music in many genres and speeds.

Q: How do Tempo Tunes work?

A: Tempo Tunes help you make every movement in the right sequence at the right tempo. Here is how to proceed:

  1. Test your tempo with our online software applications
  2. Choose music for your tempo from a variety of genres by independent artists
  3. Take your Tempo Tunes with you to the golf course or range. Use them to warm up, practice and build focus before your next round of golf.

You can also create playlists for your practice. Some playlists examples are:

  • By genre
  • For full swing
  • For putting practice
  • For short game (chip, pitch, sand, flop)
  • Pre-game warm-up
  • Tournament conditioning

Q: Can I stream Tempo Tunes?

A: Yes. You can stream Tempo Tunes with the Tempo Tunes Radio, on your computer or on your mobile device. Our website is accessible from any Wi-Fi, or 3G+ network.

You can also stream them with our free Tempo Tunes Radio mobile web app. For instructions on how to get the app, log into your account and click "Go Mobile" on the Tempo Tunes page.

Q: What is Tempo in Motion's music selection like?

A: Our music library is continuously expanding. The best independent artists worldwide compose it. You can choose from a wide variety of genres, such as classical, country, rock, jazz, world, hip-hop, and more.

Q: Why is the music instrumental?

A: Our selection is instrumental. Research shows that listening to instrumental music significantly improves performance as opposed to vocal music.

Q: How do I test my tempo?

A: Use our Tempo Finder or, if you have a 'Pro' plan, use our popular Tempo Analyzer. Just login to your account, select 'Test Your Tempo' on the navigation bar, and follow the instructions to test each of your full swing, putting stroke and short game shots.

Q: What is the Tempo Finder?

A: The Tempo Finder is an online software application containing audio and video content. It allows you to compare and match your own golf swing, putting stroke, and short game shots to that of the many different speeds of movement displayed in the application. Tempo in Motion uses a proprietary measurement system that allows you to easily remember your tempo. Once you identify which tempo fits your movement best, you can select music for your tempo from the Tempo Tunes library or radio.

Q: What is the Tempo Analyzer?

A: The Tempo Analyzer is an online software application that gives you a more accurate calculation of your tempo.It allows you to upload a short video of your own golf swing (full swing, putting stroke, or short game shot), lets you trim the section to analyze, and allows you to calculate your tempo. Tempo in Motion uses a proprietary measurement system that allows you to easily remember your tempo. Once you identify which tempo fits your movement best, you can select music for your tempo from the Tempo Tunes library or radio.

Q: What are the System Requirements to use Tempo in Motion?

A: You can view the System Requirements here. You can also access the System Requirements page by clicking on the Terms of Use and selecting the link 'System Requirements' on top of the page.

Q: Which Internet browsers work best with Tempo in Motion?

A: Firefox 3.5+, Internet Explorer 9.0+, Safari 2.0+, and Google Chrome.

A: You will find a tutorial video on the 'Tempo Tunes' page. Just sign in to your account, select 'Tempo Tunes' on the navigation bar, and click on the button 'Video Tutorials' on the bottom left side of the page.

Q: How do I use the Tempo Finder?

A: You will find a tutorial video on the 'Test your Tempo' page. Just sign in to your account, select 'Test Your Tempo' on the navigation bar, and click on the button 'Video Tutorials' on the top right side of the screen.

Q: How do I use the Tempo Analyzer?

A: Like for the Tempo Finder (above), check the tutorial video in your account.

Q: How do I upload videos of my golf swing?

A: To upload a video, you need to use the Tempo Analyzer. Follow the prompts in the Tempo Analyzer window. Please, keep the videos to a minimum of 10 seconds and a maximum of 30 seconds.

Q: Which videos are kept in my Video Storage?

A: Once you have analyzed your video in the Tempo Analyzer, you have the choice to save it in your Video Storage. Just give your video a name in the form at the bottom of the Tempo Analyzer window, and click on the 'Save Video' icon. The latest uploaded video will take precedence over the older one/s.

Q: I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

A: On the 'Log In' form, click on 'Forgot Password?' Enter the email address associated with your account and click on the button 'Get Password.' A new password will be sent to you. If you don't see an email from Tempo in Motion, make sure you check your Spam or Bulk Mail folder.
Since the password we send you is a code, you may want to change it to a personal password easier to remember. Follow the directions below on how to change your password.

Q: How do I change my password?

A: After logging in to your account, click on the 'My Account' link at the top left corner of the page, and select 'Change Password' on the right side of your screen. Just follow the prompts.

Q: How do I change or update my credit card?

A: Log in to your account, click on the 'My Account' link at the top right corner of the page, and scroll down to the 'Update Credit Card/ Billing Address' section. Fill in the form and click the button 'Update Account.'

Q: How do I change my billing address?

A: Follow the same instructions as for the change or update of your credit card (just above.)

Q: How do I change the email address associated with my account?

A: Log in to your account, click the 'My Account' link at the top right corner of the page, and fill in the 'Update Email Address' form in the center of your screen and click the 'Update Email' button.

Q: How can I see my billing history?

A: Log in to your account and click on the 'My Account' link at the top left corner of the page. Select 'Billing History/Statements' on the right side of your screen.

Q: How can I cancel my subscription?

A: Sign in to your account, click the 'My Account' link at the top right corner of the page, and select 'Cancel Subscription' at the bottom of the 'My Subscription' section. Just follow the prompts.

Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the billing period during which you deliver notice to Tempo In Motion.

Q: Can I share my account with someone else?

A: No. Your account is personal and sharing it is a violation of our Terms of Use.
